Next ACTORS STEW Is FRIDAY, JANUARY 13th -- 7:30pm! (Usually lasts about 2 hours, with informal conversation after)
These evenings are open to anyone interested in the ART and craft of performing--actors, musicians, directors, agents, producers...and YOU! This program is open to mature teens and adults. Parents of creative kids are invited as well.
ACTOR'S GYM is ATC's free program for students, alumni and staff. The next one is SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 12noon-3pm. Work on your craft in a supportive, serious (this does NOT exclude fun) atmosphere. Try out new things, work on specific techniques, and get feedback from others seriously involved in our craft. You must RSVP to work.

The Kids, Teens, and Young Adults 2011 NYC Showcases performed the last week in July in NYC at the TBG Theatre, to rave reviews! Our themes this year were The Next Big Thing for the kids, patterned after popular TV talent shows, and featured a voice-over section as well! The Teens/Young Adults show was The Road Less Traveled and featured ALL original scenes: 11 out of the 14 scenes were written by the participants! The musical numbers in both showcases highlighted some spectacular voices. What a great summer it was!
One of the industry professionals in attendance said "Your shows are SO much better than what we usually see". This year we had about 80% of our participants called by these industry professionals! That is a staggering percentage! Most showcases in NYC (NOT ATC's) get about 10-20% called, if that.
Auditions for next year's showcases will open for privately scheduled times in JANUARY.
You can order DVDs of either or both showcases! $30. Just shoot us an
EMAIL with the number of dvds you want and of which showcase. Then you can stick a check in the mail, call us with credit card, or drop off the cash.

Congrats to the participants in our 2011 Performance Concert on June 12! This was not your typical recital.
Choreographers Jessica Shackil, Heather Smith and Alexis Dungo, along with ATC staff put together an evening of dynamite dancing at ATC ELITE's 4th annual Dance Performance Concert.
