GLADIATOR, presented with permission of the playwright, Richard Caliban, explored the relationship between a life-time inmate and a young reporter. This intense, exciting show thrilled audiences. and featured Javier Molina (lifetime Actors Studio member), Chris Robertson and Dave Christian.
Bitter As Beer
"Bitter As Beer, Sweet Like Daisy", a play by Mariah Ayscue was workshopped at ATC Studios and premiered to rave reviews. It was produced off-off Broadway by WEG Media Group, Leigh Entertainment, and ATC Studios with Arielle Wren and Defining U.
Bitter As Beer, Sweet Like Daisy is the story of a girl, Rayne, who takes in her sister, Daisy, who suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder, and Daisy's friend, Skylar, after the two were kidnapped for 3 years. It explores the nature of the unconventional family they create and asks the question: how do we deal with trauma? How does life go on?
This new one-act by cutting edge playwright Neil LaBute, featured 2 of ATC's advanced actors, Sarah Robertson and Bob Smith. The play explores the relationship between a nervous older man and a glib young prostitute, as their evening together drives toward a startling conclusion. Audiences left raving about the performances!
The Tragedie Of Macbeth
This production is dedicated to King Macbeth of Scotland who killed Duncan honorably in battle and was king from 1040-1057.
This project funded, in part, by the Passaic County Cultural and Heritage Council at Passaic County Community College, through a grant from the New Jersey State council on the Arts/Department of the State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
